Students were dropping off before they even started. EduPath rethinks what onboarding looks like when a platform actually pays attention to who you are.
EdTech · AI · OnboardingGetting feedback on your work shouldn't feel like shouting into a void. Markd connects students with real recruiters so the feedback actually means something.
Marketplace · Multi-user · Design SystemMost people want to be more sustainable. Most of them just find it too inconvenient. DRIP Circle is a group project from UCC that tried to close that gap for fashion consumers.
Service Design · Group Project · SustainabilityA friend said he'd rather order from Swiggy even when Zomato is cheaper. That sentence started this whole teardown.
Apple Music kept showing me albums when I just wanted to play a song. Took one redesigned screen to show how much a hierarchy change matters.
About
I design things so people can just use them. No tutorial needed. No second guessing.
I'm Vanshika, a UI/UX designer from Delhi who somehow ended up doing her Master's in Cork, Ireland. I got into design because I genuinely find it frustrating when something should be simple and isn't. That frustration turned into a habit of pulling things apart to understand why they feel off, and then figuring out how to make them not feel that way.
My process starts way before Figma. I want to know who the person is, what they're actually trying to do, and where the current experience is failing them. That research phase is where I'm most in my element — and honestly where I think most design decisions get won or lost.
What I also bring to the table is that I can build what I design. I design and vibe code functional websites from scratch — which means I understand how design translates into real product, and I speak the same language as the developers I work with. This portfolio is proof of that.
I'm looking for a full-time role or freelance work where design is genuinely valued. If you're building something and need someone who'll think deeply before touching a single screen, let's talk.
